Do you hangout with your murried friends/friends with SOs? I try and avoid it because its hardly any fun when i am trying to win at pool/bowling/[insert any other game] while they are not even trying? I guess same holds true with murried people not wanting to hangout with single people...guess time to make new friends

Normally if I like both of the people in the relationship I like hanging out with both of them. Most of the time, though, it's my friend and some person I can't stand. Then the avoiding starts. The couple that I spend the most time with are extremely competitive both with each other and with the rest of us, so we do not have this problem playing pool or what have you.

Yes. A lot of my friends are married or in serious relationships. I don't find it awkward at all. It's a fact of life as you get older.

i am in a relationship and i don't even really hang out with my married friends (though i have very few married friends. and really it isn't MY choice...they stopped coming out pretty much)no offensethey are the lamei'm sure some married people are cool...i just don't know very many [Edited on February 18, 2011 at 8:54 PM. ^^pretty much that. I was the lone single guy in my immediate group for years. But really, all the SOs except for one I really like so hanging out with them is just like hanging out with the guys. They fit in well. My best friend's gf is a huge buzzkill and bitch, no one likes her. so they dont come around that often anymore.

My brother inlaw said he would have went to The Pour House with me on New Years Day, if he was single. My sister is having a baby in July, so I guess he isn't allowed to have fun anymore.

Depends on who we're talking about. If they are the type of couple with unnecessary PDA and ignore anyone else in the group and talk to/whisper with each other all the time I don't much care for hanging out with them. I know a couple who does this even after being together like 3 years, it's annoying. But my best friend's wife is also a good friend of mine so I love hanging out with them.[Edited on February 19, 2011 at 12:37 AM. just hung out with a married couple and their kids tonight. had a fucking blast.

I hang out with my married friends all the time...mostly because I'm friends with both people in the couple and it's fun to hang out with both...and mostly because my married friends aren't in relationships where they are possessive and it's okay for them to do things on their own.

i don't really hang out with my married friends much...mostly because they're lame and don't really do much.
2/19/2011 12:40:59 AM
^I, too, would like to me singles my age.
2/19/2011 2:15:57 AM
I, three, blah blah blah

Well gee, we'd form a wolfweb group for this if it wouldn't be the most awkward and unpleasant thing ever.I'll fourth that notion anyway. And yeah I hang out with my married friends/friends with SOs. None of my friends who are married or who have SOs (these days) are nasty about their relationships. None of this hanging out business where it ends in you being made extremely uncomfortable by making out and dry humping.[Edited on February 19, 2011 at 3:05 AM. Reason : I'd rather get a little more sane before making new friends anyway.]
