I'd also suggest you look to Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (especially the Wife of Bath's Tale)The Wife of Bath's use of the word "queynte" is pretty amusingshe is referring to her domestic duties (thus the word "quaint") and female genitalia (a root of the word "cunt")that's towards the end of the 14th century as well
