Try being creative in ur film and that will take u further. This looks like middle school work
3/1/2011 3:02:03 PM
thanks for the advice, Spielbergwhere did you go to film school?

Was it supposed to be funny? or interesting? maybe im just missing the point of it. What is the point of it?
3/1/2011 3:08:40 PM
I went to the school where the show that picture parodies is a class this was a video project for an ENG 101 class - I just helped outgot a screen play you want to pitch to me?
3/1/2011 3:10:03 PM
I don't think anyone is going to be pitching you screenplays.
3/1/2011 3:30:35 PM
It was a pretty good parody. The Like stickers were by far the best part though. Way too much focus on Farmville (after two cycles the point go across). Would like to see a longer product, but if this was ENG 101 a relatively short video is still way more than the average student input. I was more distracted by THAT ONE GUY (I don't know, the protagonist?) who had a pretty sweet room.
3/1/2011 3:45:03 PM
Missing the funny. The "like" stuff was probably the best part, with the only thing that got me even close to a chuckle (which wasn't really that close) was slapping the "thumbs up" on the girl walking by.The Farmville stuff sucked and was over done. Mafia was "meh." The very beginning with getting all those friend requests after confirming Ben (I think it was Ben) was good.

I'm pretty pleased with the product for something that was conceived, shot and edited in about 48 hours and it bodes well for future productions that might actually be written in advance of shootingI appreciate the useful feedback

needed more slapping things on womens chests

^^I don't think the video in itself is bad at all. I'm definitely not an expert on that stuff, but it looks good. I just don't think it's funny. But the "limited time" is a good excuse. You can't expect to put out high comedic value in such a short amount of time.

I would like to give my opinion on this video, but apparently since I didn't go to film school my opinion will just be mocked by an overly protective OP. [Edited on March 1, 2011 at 5:29 PM. Reason : an OPOP if you will.]

I think it was great. Overlaying facebook norms with every day life is always funny to me. I like the idea of a scene where I totally dig through someone's photo albums while they're briefly out of the room as a metaphor for photo stalking them on FB.

^ im not sure what you're talking about, i ask my facebook friends if its ok to look at their facebook photos before looking at them, each and every time
