Mathematics -> mathsMathematic -> mathMathematic isn't even a word. Firefox is underlining it in red.

here is an 11 yo genius girlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1366312/Little-Miss-Einstein-Meet-certified-genius-aged-11-loves-Dr-Who-Lady-Gaga-girly-sleepovers.html

i hate it when people compare young people IQs to old people IQs. age is one of the factors in determining IQ up to a certain point in your life, and so it's really not a good comparison. if i perform a certain way on the tests at 10, and the exact same way at 12, the results would actually show my IQ decreasing. IQ is a nebulous enough concept as it is, the last thing that needs to happen is people need to get even more incorrect information, which is what happens when these types of comparisons are made.

sounds like somebodys a little jealous of a kids IQ score

^^ True, but I like their style and layout of their website. I also like the actual print paper, which is usually 100+ pages.Their science/tech/health sections are one of the best I have ever seen on any news website, usually containing spectacular photo essays and imagery from the natural world and space:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/index.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/index.htmlIf you click the 2nd link, right at the top you will see these amazing pages:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1370219/Technicolour-dream-planet-Earth-youve-seen-it.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1369616/Pictured-The-irritating-grains-pollen-look-like-beautiful-works-art-microscope.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1369460/Grand-Designs-Kevin-McCloud-10-greatest-architectural-homes.htmlAnother great thing about their site is the ease of searching and the results you get. For example, search for 'elephant' and you get links to amazing stories with amazing pictures:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/search.html?searchPhrase=elephantIt gives 92 search result pages with links to 20 articles on each page! Some of the best ones with awesome pictures:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1330891/Elephant-v-crocodile-The-moment-brave-elephant-mum-shakes-vicious-crocodile.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1084689/Pictured-The-baby-elephant-adopted-sheep.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-439210/Pictures-Newborn-elephant-calf-takes-shaky-steps.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1367795/The-Elephant-Man-died-weight-giant-head-crushed-spinal-cord.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1329924/Ultrasound-baby-elephant-George-inside-mothers-womb-Whipsnade-Zoo.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1337157/Real-king-jungle-Bull-elephant-chases-lion-dares-disturb-him.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1341974/Elephants-enjoy-Germanys-winter-weather--make-snowballs-trunks.htmlAnd finally... the best thing perhaps is their extremely descriptive URLS
3/27/2011 5:06:03 PM
