are there any places locally that stock a decent assortment of larger-than-standard shoes? The shoes i've had vary largely between brands (ex: a 17 in nike is about a 16 in new balance) and id like to be able to try a bunch on in one sitting. i feel like a dick constantly sending back shoes to zappos because the dont fit right p.s. congrats on your massive dongs

http://www.wideshoewarehouse.com/store.htmlSadly their shop over by the Angus Barn went out of business (but not before I cleaned them out of sandals), so you'd have to drive to Pineville, NC. They used to carry Men's shoes, then it seems they switched to only ladies, and now they are saying they'll have Men's shoes again in the Fall. Might want to call before you make a trip. They carry odd sizes (narrow and larger sizes) not just wide shoes. It looks like there's shop in Atlanta (Friedman's) if you're ever down that way.Good luck in your quest, BigMan!

so sad that wide shoe warehouse in the triangle went under, but there was no new stock the last 2 times i went (2 months apart). The new balance store should have them in stock...

I wear 13s, and never really have a problem finding shoes, but that is typically the highest they go for a majority of their stock at most of the places I go...
