After first job.[Edited on June 9, 2011 at 9:47 PM. Reason : and never if it's not a standout GPA]
6/9/2011 9:46:54 PM
for me it was after my first semester of college
6/9/2011 9:47:10 PM
after it dropped below 3.0[Edited on June 9, 2011 at 9:47 PM. Reason : ^]
6/9/2011 9:47:11 PM
the higher it is, the longer it has any worth
6/9/2011 9:47:34 PM
depends on how embarassing the GPAgenerally if it's 3.6 or higher, it's pretty much the first thing you mention for the rest of your lifeintroducing President of the AARP with a 3.75 at his Alma Mater....
6/9/2011 9:47:47 PM
After first job.
6/9/2011 9:49:58 PM
^^ lol, that isn't even close to accurate. Anyone over 25 with a GPA on their resume has some issues. I went through 8 hours of interviews for my current job and they never once mentioned my undergrad degree and I'm not THAT old.
6/9/2011 9:50:47 PM
after first real job
6/9/2011 9:50:48 PM
lawl @ qfred and davidbut really, after I got into my master's program
6/9/2011 9:51:26 PM
^^^ hey, I'll be almost 29 when i graduate, so i think the GPA might be relevant
6/9/2011 9:52:48 PM
do you EVER put a graduate school GPA on there? ... especially if you go to grad school after your first job?
6/9/2011 9:52:56 PM
After I got my first jobI had to put my resume together today for this grant proposal and took off my gpa
6/9/2011 9:53:13 PM
i'm leaving that 4.0 up there forevernah, probably the next time i go looking for a job, which i don't really foresee at this time
6/9/2011 9:53:21 PM
6/9/2011 9:53:45 PM
when its below a 2.8I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.
6/9/2011 9:53:58 PM
grad school GPA is pretty much cum laude at the absolute least, right?
6/9/2011 9:54:39 PM
6/9/2011 9:56:08 PM
yeah in most programs you have to keep at least a B average or you're outta thereeeeeeeI don't plan on putting it on anything from here on out, even after I graduate with my M.S.
6/9/2011 9:56:38 PM
6/9/2011 9:57:00 PM
After you realize you sucked at college but still need a job
6/9/2011 9:57:26 PM
^^Agreed. That's why I said program matters. There are quite a few law students with job experience in between. But a lot of employers will only hire top 10% or 15%, so regardless of experience, you put it on there for law.

Resume of the future:I M HirableEducation: Citigroup Univ (Online)GPA: 7.5Field of Study: Associates in Walmart StudiesStatement: After serious good studying and stuff I am totally ready for this job as I've been on food stamps since the economy was overhauled in 2013
6/9/2011 10:01:41 PM
6/9/2011 10:03:24 PM
sometimes i forget what i even did at my last (first) job
6/9/2011 10:05:25 PM
don't actually have a resume anymore... but when I need one again in twenty years it so I certainly won't have my gap on it
6/9/2011 10:05:56 PM
Any employers check that shit? I had a 3.97 if nobody is checking
6/9/2011 10:06:11 PM
make it bold, a little big bigger font size and put in some clip art of a smiley winking, with a speech bubble next to it saying "there's more where that came from"
6/9/2011 10:07:25 PM
I type my resume in Wing Dings.
6/9/2011 10:09:49 PM
I prefer Harlow Solid Italic for the résumé itself and Jokerman for the cover letter]
6/9/2011 10:13:52 PM
also, you should have thrown in the possibility of a CVI doubt I'll ever have a resume anymore and go for the CV
6/9/2011 10:14:13 PM
GPA also is excellent material for vanity platesSTATE 2.9looks great on a late model mercedes
6/9/2011 10:40:26 PM
6/9/2011 10:50:01 PM
Pretty sure I wouldn't of gotten hired if my employee knew my GPA.
6/9/2011 10:52:31 PM
only on part-time / internships before you graduate
6/9/2011 10:53:06 PM
you can avoid putting the actual number if you put "(magna/summa) cum laude" under your degree if you meet the range
6/9/2011 10:55:14 PM
I put it on my resume for applying after undergrad. And now that I'm freshly out of grad school the 4.0 is going on there. But I think it will only last for one job. I think people expect or at least accept it on there for people right out of school, otherwise it is probably a little odd.
6/9/2011 10:57:30 PM
i heard Slave Famous puts Magnum Cum Load on his resumè
6/9/2011 10:57:50 PM
put "GPA: Undefuckingfeated"]
6/9/2011 10:58:51 PM
I'm sorry, I thought you wanted to know the number of girls penetrated anally while I was in college.
6/9/2011 11:16:18 PM
Some .gov positions want your whole college transcript, official, and you aren't straight out of college.
6/9/2011 11:24:52 PM
It varies, sort of ... I have never been asked about a GPA at any stage in my career. They usually reveal GPA requirements in the job posting, if its necessary for them to know. Most of the time if they considered you enough for the position that they interviewed you they figure you probably can do the job, they just want to meet you, and try not to be too serious.^ That's just for pay grade purposes. You will still end up making the same money whether you have a 2.5 or a 4.0, if you get the job.[Edited on June 9, 2011 at 11:28 PM. Reason : /]
6/9/2011 11:27:31 PM
Mine is too shitty to advertise.
6/10/2011 9:23:50 AM
i just substitute my weighted high school GPA
6/10/2011 9:38:30 AM
Oh, and don't forget to round it up to the nearest .5
6/10/2011 9:43:12 AM
never? Just put a line that you graduated and any relevant past experiences or jobs. Kill them in the interview, that's it.Also:Internships >> GPA
6/10/2011 12:16:11 PM
yeah my gpa was trash but what i have experience in and my reputation in the industry is pretty good (at least in Raleigh/wake co)
