6/21/2011 9:50:24 PM
Same here, I bought the soundtrack because Clint Mansell is awesome than I watched the movie on instant watch netflix. I think the movie needed a little more clarity for me to deem it a great movie, but I certainly think it's better than the panning it received from the general public.

6/21/2011 11:20:37 PM
You WILL regret watching Enter The Void. I hope you like disjointed camera work, incredibly stupid transitions, and zooming in on light sources.

6/22/2011 12:14:12 AM

2.5/5 stars, at bestNot much to it except for some slightly interesting visuals
6/22/2011 12:58:38 AM
I'd give it at least 3.5 for trying something different, and if they tied it all together a little bit more, it could've been much better.
6/22/2011 1:03:55 AM
no, Pi is a great movieRequiem for a Dream is a great movieThe Fountain is, you know, ok...
6/22/2011 1:50:09 AM
aronofsky's first misstepbut everyone needs some, so i ain't hatin'it just doesn't live up to his others
6/22/2011 1:58:29 AM
I wonder if it would have been better if he had just left the whole space part out. Just wanted enough time in the movie for all three.
6/22/2011 1:59:51 AM
but it's not a misstepit's just not the greatest fucking thing everthat's the problem when you're a fucking geniussometimes you make "ok" stuff and everyone thinks you're fucking upit's not fair[Edited on June 22, 2011 at 2:01 AM. Reason : .]
6/22/2011 2:00:28 AM
it's not badit's the misstep of a genius, surebut if we're holding him to that standard, you have to call it like you see itthe man's made four movies and three of them are goddamn brilliantthe one that isn't is just okay, which is finebut it's still a misstep
6/22/2011 2:02:14 AM
i dislike this movie a lot.but The Wrestler is good enough to make me forget it.
6/22/2011 3:38:35 AM
