kiljadn what's your favorite Bundesliga team so I can support their rivals?
6/27/2011 6:17:11 PM
I don't really even know any Bundesliga teams aside from Bayern, who I obviously hate In Serie A my team is Fiorentina, but why pile on the hate there? They are pretty goddamned bad. hahaha

I'm a Bayern guy, but I got roots there!
6/30/2011 2:04:29 PM
Well I was leaning towards Kaiserslautern, mostly because of their sweet stadium and what I've read about their fans, but then I found out their nickname was "Red Devils" so they're out. Dortmund seems like a good choice because of "You'll Never Walk Alone" and massive Kop but I don't want to be a front running assholeGermany lady at work said "stay away from all the northern teams" with a look on her face like they were smelly and "and definitely not Bayern Munich"

The kid in the 10 shirt for the u17 German team is dirty.
6/30/2011 4:26:49 PM

6/30/2011 6:31:05 PM
they're 2nd division thoughI'm thinking about Hertha BSC
6/30/2011 6:50:54 PM
^they'll get promoted this year! But yeah they don't show 2nd bundesliga matches on TV, though you can usually find a stream. You might find this link useful, they have historical info on just about every club: http://www.abseits-soccer.com/

Is anyone watching the Copa America games on Univision? I got a bad first impression of Neymar in the Brazil match today. He missed a wide open shot in front of goal. Brazil's hairstyles were more interesting than the scoreless bore.
7/4/2011 1:17:00 AM
Neymar still flashed some splendid technique and first touch in the first half. It's been a lackluster start to the whole tournament, but hopefully Brazil's young attacking talent starts clicking together. The matches are also streamed live with English commentary at http://www.youtube.com/user/CopaAmerica
