How the fuck do you get used to these abominations. I've had a ring for 4 days and I think I hate it more every day. Do you wear a ring a majority of the time? Also I feel naked if I don't also wear a watch so now I'm doubly irritated, although the watch irritation is <<<<< ring irritation.

At first, I just reminded myself that it symbolized the great love I share with my wife. I'm sure your balls will drop eventually.
6/30/2011 1:03:07 PM
are you just trying to rub it on our faces that you're now married?
6/30/2011 1:05:38 PM
INB4 THE FREEMASONS.
6/30/2011 1:06:09 PM
Haven't worn a ring since high school
6/30/2011 1:06:28 PM
Yeah, it's awkward/new for a while but you get over it when you look down at it and think of your beautiful wife
6/30/2011 1:07:04 PM
you'll get used to it.
6/30/2011 1:07:12 PM
I only take mine off to shower.
6/30/2011 1:07:44 PM
Lol mobsters ITT
6/30/2011 1:08:33 PM
I don't see why a ring is necessary to show love for your partner. I don't ever plan on wearing one other than on special occasions.ps. google "ring deglove"
6/30/2011 1:10:34 PM
i have a heavy ass tungsten ring took me a few days to get used to but when i was working on the car it saved my ring finger a few times lol and its not even scratched... this bitch is strooonnnggg.
6/30/2011 1:11:00 PM
A ring isn't necessary, but it's a well known symbol in our culture. Don't be lame.[Edited on June 30, 2011 at 1:11 PM. Reason : !]
6/30/2011 1:11:10 PM
I just hope its not one of those massive 8mm or larger rings...they look so damn gay
6/30/2011 1:13:31 PM
My ring is stainless steel, is usually feels okay in the morning but by afternoon I'm al FFFFFFUUUUUUUU!
6/30/2011 1:13:58 PM
I'm thinking instead of rings, that my wife & I will instead get championship belts to show our affection/love/whatever
6/30/2011 1:15:03 PM

I had a platinum ring at first. it was heavy, and i was constantly playing with it... i lost it pretty soon after getting married.replaced it with a titanium ring. $90 vs. $1000 (DOH).but the titanium ring is practically weightless, and i wasn't as aware of it as I was with the platinum. I don't even remember the last time i took it off. Hell, I don't even know if I can.

no it not i'm not allowed to wear mine @ work. Nut broke loose working on my car's suspension and i didn't have my gloves on, i punched a control arm and the ring hit first...

I had to explain that same thing with regards to titanium rings to my girl and the lady who owns the jewelry shop she works in. I was like "Haven't you people ever heard of Snopes?" [Edited on June 30, 2011 at 1:30 PM. Reason : s]

I don't mind rings, but being in the Navy and watching those safety videos has pretty much made me aware that I shouldn't be doing manual labor with one on.example:slip off of a ladder and the ring is the only thing that catches on something to catch your fallthe skin and muscle of your finger is gonna come off like a gloveDO NOT CLICK UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEE AN EXAMPLE OF THIS, Khttp://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/attachments/14769d1305677156-finger%2520injury%25202.jpg

Froshkiller could be replaced with a bot
6/30/2011 1:44:49 PM
i think i first made that observation about myself on the wolf web in 2002
6/30/2011 1:45:08 PM
6/30/2011 1:46:28 PM
^^ have you seriously considered creating the bot?that might be funwould you be opposed to me attempting to create the bot?[Edited on June 30, 2011 at 1:49 PM. Reason : ,]

i have from time to time considered making a bot to stand in for myself on the wolf web, yesbut i mean i've got the real deal here soif you want to register an account for the bot and take a crack at it, be my guest
6/30/2011 1:49:58 PM
we opted to get a tungsten cock ring instead of traditional wedding bands. the worst part was airport security on the way to our honeymoon. that and winter time.
6/30/2011 1:50:23 PM
my buddy got his "wedding ring" tattooed onto his finger. That way he's still "wearing" it while at work (where it can't have things on his hands for safety reasons) and when they go out the real ring covers it up. I thought it was a cool idea.
6/30/2011 1:50:47 PM
thanksi just might
6/30/2011 1:51:02 PM
This dude I work with got ring tattoos with his wife. It's pretty neat, I have to admit.

If OP is backhanded bragging about being married, he should post pics of his wife so the rest of us can backhanded fap to it.
6/30/2011 1:58:05 PM
a significant number of people with traditional values would absolutely judge someone for not wearing a ringin some circles it's taken as confirmation that someone is fucking around
6/30/2011 1:58:41 PM
^yeah i understand thati went back and amended my post. i think i really lucked out with my friends/family/even acquaintances though because i am 99% sure they would be totally supportive if i or cod chose not to wear rings. i used my anecdotal evidence and applied it generally.my fail [Edited on June 30, 2011 at 2:01 PM. 6/30/2011 2:01:45 PM
ive heard ring tats fade really fast.i have no idea the truth to that though.
6/30/2011 2:03:04 PM
i like wearing my ringi'm happy to be marriedit's not a burden and it did not take very long to get used to
6/30/2011 2:03:32 PM
ring tattoos are one of the worst ideas, of all timeof all time
6/30/2011 2:03:50 PM
B0j0s doesn't wear his wedding bandhe and his wife are afraid he'll lose it i think lol
6/30/2011 2:04:16 PM
Mine drove me crazy to start with. I fiddled with it so much I got a blister on my ring finger. After a few months, I didn't notice it anymore. Then I temporarily lost it several years ago and basically I haven't taken it off since then. It feels weird without it on now, my hands go all 'Ricky Bobby at the beginning of Talledega Nights'.
6/30/2011 2:18:53 PM
Rings are gay. I'm getting an anklet.
