Dear Heavenly Father,Please don't ever let me become so lazy that I pay people to do my lawn for me.Sincerely Yours and Amen, ncstatetke
7/1/2011 7:48:33 PM
i have much better things i'd rather be doing with my time.it's not that i'm lazy, i just don't see why i must spend an afternoon cleaning up my lawn on a weekend where i could be out somewhere instead if i have the means to do so.

how big is the yard?[Edited on July 1, 2011 at 8:18 PM. Reason : i kinda enjoy yardwork]

I hate the thought of doing yard work. I don't mind doing it. I like the end result. As it is, this time of year I'm not home much during daylight so I am seriously thinking of paying someone to do it for me.

Evan makes sense sometimes... fuck lawn care, I dont miss that shit at all. Now my backyard is 189 acres and I dont have to do shit.
7/1/2011 8:53:31 PM
I don't mind mowing. I just pop in the headphones and listen to music, a podcast, or an audiobook. But if I could pay someone 12 bucks to do the 15-20 minutes of weedeating I have to do every week I totally would.[Edited on July 1, 2011 at 9:01 PM. Reason : ]

I pay a guy $25 to do my front, back, trash, edging, hedge trimming, and haul all the shit with him. why do work I could pay someone ~$10/hr to do while I make $100/hr doing something else?
7/1/2011 9:04:42 PM
it builds character
7/1/2011 9:12:07 PM
I've got enough character. I don't mind paying someone to build their character doing my yardwork.
7/1/2011 9:13:42 PM
evan get your latest boytoy to do the yard work....like a typical couple....the man does that sort of thing usually......[Edited on July 1, 2011 at 9:15 PM. Reason : w]

I'm not as proud of my yard if I cheated and let someone else do it for me.
7/1/2011 9:30:29 PM
If you need your yard to supply your self worth then you have major problems
7/1/2011 9:33:47 PM
i don't take pride in grass, but i am curious to know what supplies your self worth, jaybee

Its all about the available time. I love putzing around the house, doing yardwork, that sort of thing. But when you're busy with other stuff, you have to prioritize where time goes, and if you have a big yard it can be a huge time drain. It takes me 1/2 a day to get my front/back yard mowed, trimmed, and deal with the pine cones/needles/branches that fall.
