my brother and SIL had to get a shit ton of mulch for their backyard (got a whole truck) after the tornado as they lost all their trees and needed to do something asap. it was very cheap and good mulch.

you should go for a mulch that comes from this coast then, that's probably cheaper

(cedar mulch is made of western cedar)

^ Depends what kind of bugs you're trying to detract. Most cedar mulch doesn't make that huge of a difference since the oils dissipate pretty quickly.
