It's becAuse content providers missed the boat on online streaming and they are bitter Netflix is taking their money by providing a service they were too dumb to realize they could have provided.

I'll be getting rid of netflix soon. You can get most of the shit online these days. And if I want to watch a movie (which isn't as often as I thought it would be), I'll just go to a redbox.
