The first movies I really remember seeing in the theater were Aladdin and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. I'm sure I saw movies before then but I don't remember them. I think I might have seen Rescuers Down Under in theaters but it's unclear, I was 6 at the time.
10/13/2011 1:41:06 AM
I can't remember the first movie I saw. It was probably some thing "boring" and adult that my parents wanted to see.But I do remember my pops busting me out of school early to go see The Lion King! Total surprise and totally awesome! In line, we spent a lot of time preparing for the scary/sad death scene...and I was like 5 years older than all the other pre-school kids around. I just remembered (and checked)...at the theater, my father had a copy of the crime novel, Strip Tease, on him, and you could just see the title sticking out his back pocket...so we busted on him for being "gross."[Edited on October 13, 2011 at 1:59 AM. Reason : EEEEWWWWWW!]
10/13/2011 1:52:36 AM
Anyone remember their first R rated movie in the theater? I think my brothers probably took me to some when I was younger but the first one I saw with a parent was Starship Troopers. Me and my Dad were watching (I think) Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and it was so terrible that we snuck out of that and into Starship Troopers.
10/13/2011 1:52:51 AM

Again, first R-rated movie was probably something boring and adult. But I do remember my dad taking me to see Payback since we were both big Mel Gibson fans. By that I mean we enjoyed watching Lethal Weapon marathons on TV together. While just a few years before we had spent a lot of time preparing for the death scene in The Lion King...we did not devote any time to preparing for the dude-getting-beat-by-a-dominatrix-with-a-telephone sex scene in Payback.
