I know there are several "asian markets" around the raleigh area. Most of them are really chinese markets. does anybody know of a good place to buy korean cooking supplies?

-There was a korean market off of method rd called Green Market, but I think it closed.-There is/was one off of spring forest road 2431 Spring Forest Rd # 109, Raleigh, NC 27615-7525 (919) 875-1577. I haven't been here in a while either, but they used to have those corn icecream bars that I really like. (looks like it's still there per Google Maps)-There is one off 55 in Durham too which I went to abt 5 yrs ago.[Edited on October 13, 2011 at 12:22 AM. Reason : yella feva]

S-Mart in Cary. More Korean goods than you can shake a stick at. They also have a pretty good Korean lunch counter in there as well and they have a kimchee making contest every year.Oh yeah and there's Kim's Market or whatever it's called on Duraleigh Road near Waraji and KFC. Small but good for basic stuff.[Edited on October 13, 2011 at 9:49 AM. Reason : a]

Went to s-mart today. Had decent success. Girlfriend really just wanted those sweet potato noodles. Those things are good. Also got some hot pepper paste and powder

those noodles are really good. dont taste like sweet potato tho so dont expect it to. def worth giving them a try tho.my gf said that after you cook them you need to rinse them off or else they get very sticky so run them under some water before doing whatever with them
