I've long since been an Apple hater for a few reasons... but the bottom line is that I've had a long list of bizarre problems with both my PC and two Android phones, and little or NO customer service to help me... Mac might get my business next time I go shopping. pls to share your thoughts

Extremely retardedIt's not even Apples to Oranges, it's more like "Apples to vegetables"Survey needs to be between competing models, like iPhone vs Galaxy S 2.^ Overpriced, difficult to upgrade, no games[Edited on October 16, 2011 at 10:08 AM. Reason : ]

I really hate Apple more than anyone else on this forum.
10/16/2011 10:27:50 AM
I am second in "I hate Apple" linehow DO you change the battery in an iPod?
10/16/2011 10:33:15 AM
i do hate Apple for the fact that you can't customize it as much... but they make a solid product and for that I am <this close> to crossing to the dark side. I'm sick of going to Verizon and IT to fix my shit. Verizon doesn't fix anything anyways.
10/16/2011 10:37:46 AM
I have apple products and an android phone. That was one of the dumbest graphics I've ever seen.
10/16/2011 10:38:21 AM
people... this IS chit chatanyways... i also hate how stuck up many (not all and not even most) iPhone/Mac users are... my GOD. But, the same could be said about people like myself who have long since been anti-Apple, I just hope I annoy them as much as they annoy me
10/16/2011 10:40:39 AM
I don't HATE apple, but I won't be buying any more of their productswith Google and droid-life, etc if I have any problem w/ my phone I can figure out how to fix it myselfmy ipod touch's wifi never really worked correctly, then when they had a system update, my version of ipod touch wasn't compatible with the OS update (wtf, how many versions of ipod touch are there)]
10/16/2011 10:41:32 AM
but, Apple has a beautiful stream-lined product with lots of cool features and excellent customer support so... I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make the switch when this laptop kills itself and when the iPhone 5 comes out.Any iPhone users out there who wanna share their experience? Here's some of the daily bullshit I deal with using my Android (Samsung Charge)slow slow slow slow slow... don't have more than half a dozen added applications: horoscopes, google sky maps, magic 8 ball, pulse, facebook, rage readerthe color on the screen changes almost everytime i turn the screen back onupdates? yeah, ok, failed most of the time, esp for facebook (but i think thats mostly facebooks fault)did i mention slow?loses my contact info, idk how that happens, then re-syncs with google and they're backjust a bunch of shitalso, turns itself off a lotbattery life blows too (but i got a free extra battery so i shouldnt be complaining)

I guess one advantage (?) of Apple phones is there is only one type of current phone that uses their iOSwith Android, there are a whole lot of different manufacturers and then phones within each of those manufacturers, so general tech support can require some specialized help]
10/16/2011 10:47:37 AM
lots of butthurt android users ittjelly?

i installed "Voice Actions" on my DX yesterday, it sucks but some responses are hilariousi asked "how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" and it gave me this paragraph about woodchuck biology and mentioned something about odds with dying in a volcanic eruption then it threw in chuck norris somehow at the end^there are many better screengrabs you could have chosen to make someone "jelly" of a smartass-in-your-pocket[Edited on October 16, 2011 at 10:58 AM. yes, my butt is hurt, i long awaited a smart phone that was comparable to the iPhone, and then Androids came out, but ive since been facing the same bullshit problems that i face with my PC. crappy hardware, less attractive/streamlined/WORKING software. and i spend as much IF NOT MORE on my Android/PC stuff. So i have been ass raped LONG enough, now i feel i have no choice but to bow down to Mac because hey, at least there i'll get some freakin customer support.i had an iPod for several years, my fat ass sat on it crushed the screen, they replaced it no problem, got the dreaded dead screen once, they replaced it no problem... other than that never had any issues with it. the list for my Android/PC problems is horribly long and the list of 'satisfied customer service' (even with the apocalyptic insurance plans) is very very short... 'not satisfied whatsoever' and i always end up paying more because i can either have a working phone/PC or not, but that costs $$
10/16/2011 10:57:12 AM
so wait, integrated AI voice input in the actual OS of a device leading to the end of keyboards slowly and you are like 'who cares'butt hurt confirmed.

10/16/2011 10:59:24 AM
ive been curious how Siri asks you to enter passwordsand why do people keep implying keyboards are the worst thing ever, i like privacy
10/16/2011 10:59:34 AM
^^^ Really? Leading to the end of keyboards?Hey I heard there's this revolutionary new feature on smartphones where you can actually talk to people right over the phone! Could this be the end of texting?![Edited on October 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Reason : ]

i fucking love the voice software on my Android... that might be one of the few things that works better than expected, and no doubt i commend them on making it badass... but i'm not willing to sacrifice the number one point of having a cellphone (one that workds) for thatand no iPhone/Mac users have come forth to tell me of similar problems, thus confirming my imminent sell-out move to Mac
10/16/2011 11:00:35 AM
yes, 'it just works'wish i could say that for any of my PC stuff.except... i had an old old Toshiba Satellite tablet that worked (still works) for 6 years. Best computer i ever had. it was $2700 but, hey it worked, no ifs ands or buts
10/16/2011 11:01:54 AM
honestly, if you have phone issues and need customer support to deal with them (i.e. uncomfortable/unable to do it yourself) then Apple probably is for you
10/16/2011 11:02:33 AM

10/16/2011 11:04:57 AM
the fuck am i supposed to do about the fact that my Android phone changes the saturation/hue everytime i turn the screen back on? auto-brightness doesnt work either, and when i set the brightness to be at one level all the time it doesnt stay there anyway. ive tried to take it back to Verizon and it's gonna be $90 (EVEN WITH MY INSURANCE) to replace it.

"is the plethora of smileys some sort of apple joke"i don't think so.
10/16/2011 11:07:02 AM
the lack of customization argument is funny to me. in my opinion, apple has done a very good job of designing the interface; good enough that i don't want to customize it. i very much like how it looks. i know a few people with droids, and this of course could just be their personal taste, but the options they choose for customizing how it looks are horrible. reminds me of one of those 80s buicks that's painted bright glitter green, jacked 3' off the ground, with 22" wheels, & a giant doublemint gum logo on the side.
10/16/2011 11:07:29 AM

10/16/2011 11:10:42 AM
And I'll repost my previous statement since I edited after you repliedAnd you didn't understand the point, people obviously don't mind typing considering how much texting people do when you've been able to just talk to people forever.Maybe you don't mind talking to a computer while on a subway, or standing on the street, or in a meeting at work, but I'd rather just type it.
10/16/2011 11:11:49 AM
oh so you thought apple was just deleting the keyboards or sometingnah man.
10/16/2011 11:13:20 AM
i still prefer typing my messages, they're private afterall, however the voice recognition is sweeeeeet. i think im just used to typing so the voice recognition is just something cool that i wouldnt use much
10/16/2011 11:18:53 AM
Nah I know apple isn't, but you seem to want to.Android and Windows Phone is probably going to have a Siri like interface pretty soon, I'll still never use it unless I'm driving. And I cant wait until those OSes make significant improvements to their ALREADY EXISTING voice control software only to have Apple fanboys claiming they just stole the idea from Siri and hope for a lawsuit.
10/16/2011 11:18:55 AM
I'm not even close to a tech-y person but I love my iPhone.
