is this even up for debate? i watched the show for years and never even knew anyone other than mike did it and then once i went back and tried to watch those i couldn't

I watched the show close to the beginning while I still had cable. I've seen all the Joel episodes and very few of the Mike episodes.

I think I've seen considerably more Joel episodes. Not enough Mikes to form a confident opinion.

My favorite mst3k will forever be mitchell(ep 512 if memory serves) which coincidentally is when the joel to mike switch happened

They're both great in their own way, but I'ma go with Mike (I like some of the Rifftrax stuff more than the original MST3K)
