Great job to the OP!!! My wife put up our tree a week ago because we celebrated Christmas with her folks on Thanksgiving. Everything is brand new and not that great because when we moved from either Hawaii to CT or from CT to VA, the box that had ALL of our ornaments (personalized porcelain ones you can buy at the mall every year, ones when we were kids, etc.) disappeared. Additionally, when we went to the store (Target) to pick one out, I had to stop mid-shopping and return to the car because of my back problems. She got plastic globe ornaments that have no red, green, and white. She doesn't like them, and I let her tell me that before I agreed with her. I think next year we are going to do a little better.[Edited on November 26, 2011 at 7:39 PM. Reason : complimentations]

I'm allergic to the oleoresins produced by conifers (Christmas trees). In a closed environment, like a house, it takes me just a few hours to start experiencing symptoms.
