I used to have one of the Heattech shirts they talk about in the article. It kept me warm but no warmer than the under garments they sell for skiing.

I like how this tech isn't used on the space station for undergarments... I mean I would have to kill myself if I had to wear the same piece of underwear for 30 days... sure, they are treated with the odour/bacteria fighting chemicals, but damn... it's gotta be bad in a month of use considering they are rated to only 17 days.
