Real wimmens love a man that shows emotion. OP must be single

The problem is, women don't notice or don't consider anger and other negative emotions when men show them. So, a man could be very emotionally expressive and still be falsely accused of not showing his emotions. This is what I have learned from my feminist women's studies and gender class.[Edited on December 26, 2011 at 9:27 AM. Real men are secure enough in their masculinity to express emotion.I know some wonderful man's men who have been know to cry.

see, when you say, "express emotion" you mean "express the emotion I want to see"because all men express lots of emotion.

Perhaps it is more accurate to say "express a wide range of emotion." There are certain aspects of our culture that send men the message that it is unmanly even feminine to express tender emotions and emotions of melancholy. Some men buy into that and swallow those feelings or allow them to manifest in other maladaptive ways. Blah blah blah. . .it's the day after Christmas and I don't really feel like having the conversation about "manning up" or "sucking it up" and all of the wrong messages those terms send to boys. It's not an issue of what I want to see, but an issue of just being yourself and allowing yourself to be in the moment without guilt.
