Like if you made a time machine and managed to travel backwards in time, would it be like Langoliers style or Back to the Future style?

it is impossible to create a time machine that can travel backwards in time. at the minimum, there is no possibility of creating such a time machine in our lifetimes.therefore, there is no point in discussing your question./thread

time travel doesn't really impact the question of free will. it is an incidental relationship, that's all.
