Roughly followed this:http://rhodesbread.com/blog/blog/braided-spaghetti-breadIt's really easy. I just added veggies and switched up a few things. ^don't know about using crescent rolls. I just made bread dough and rolled it out myself. I typically make my pasta from scratch too but wanted the pasta to be a little harder (requires dried pasta initially).

You've brought up a very legitimate point. What's almost always served with pasta? Bread! Not redundant to combine them from the get-go!
