going to Europe with the wife for 17 days and don't really wanna screw around w/ a bunch of dirty laundry. the thought of having skid marked underwear and dirty socks stinkin up the inside of your luggage sounds gross. wear these once and then toss em. thoughts?http://onederwear.com/index.html

I have a friend that loves these things. But he's also a gross person so I don't know how well that vouches.

You can get normal underwear for cheaper than that, and just toss it.

Get 2 pairs of those quick drying camping underwear, and alternate while washing.[Edited on February 15, 2012 at 6:34 PM. Reason : a]

we wear those exofficio ones while backpacking/camping. they breathe SUPER well & are easy to wash/dry. they weigh almost nothing & fit well too.

wear your old underwear there and socks with holes and when they get dirty, toss them. When you get home buy new ones

You shouldn't pack two and a half weeks of clothes, so you should be dealing with laundry anyway while you're there. It's not hard to find a full-service laundromat that will clean and fold your stuff during the day while you're out touring around. Also, wipe your ass you nasty motherfucker.

so you haven't been traveling much, huh, OP?don't over packyou will be miserable hauling that shit around and you'll look like an American doucheand just so you knowthey DO sell underpants and socks in Europeif they didn't what would Germans wear with sandals?

this would be our first trip and it'll be for 17 days. my wife has been but had the luxury of staying in a furnished apartment that had washer/dryer. i'm only bringing 6 days worth of clothes and planned on wiping my ass at some point on the trip

I'd suggest bringing even fewer clothes. It really isn't that hard to sink wash stufftUnless you're wealthy you're going to want to use public transportation (don't blow your money on cabs... and immersing yourself in the experience is part of the fun). You'll feel like a total asshole with a big roller suitcase on the train with you. This is a good start for a packing list: http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/tips/packlist.htmLess is better though. Resist the urge to bring everything. They really do sell stuff in Europe, I promise. Pharmacies are often called "apothecaries" or some variation on that. Look for a green cross. What cities are you visiting? (You're gonna have a blast!)

This is so fucking stupid. Underwear is cheap enough as it is. Just buy 17 pairs of BVDs and don't over think it.Alternatively, I will give you.1000 dollars if you wear the same pair for the entire trip, with full documentation, of course.

i had no idea this was a problem for people

If I went to Europe I would do the same thing, and make room for bringing back souvenirs and stuff.
