anybody make their own hot sauce?I bought a package of Habeneros, and I'm looking to make my own hot sauce out of it. I got Dave's Insanity Sauce once as a present once (best gift ever), but I'm looking for a homemade recipe.

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/bobs-habanero-hot-sauce---liquid-fire/ is very good. I am not usually a fan of fruit/hot, but this is an exception.

I had a small container of Skwinkle's peach hot sauce. That stuff was amazing! I love the undertone/flavor of the fruit!

I tried making my own once.Mcilhenny's crushes their peppers, ages them for three years in oak barrels with a salt cap, then blends the resulting mash with vinegar over a week-ish long process. So I blended some up, threw in some salt, and let it sit in a ball jar in the pantry for a year. I ended up with a jar of crap, with some reddish-blackish sauce-type material at the bottom. There's recipes on youtube that show how to make something that looks edible, though.
