it begins...but seriously, fuck lousy tippers
2/25/2012 1:35:10 AM
He didn't even round up to 1.34. What a prick.
2/25/2012 1:36:17 AM
If he doesn't want people to work in the service industry with their pay predicated on tips, then he should go to places where they don't do tips.
2/25/2012 1:51:02 AM
Tipping isn't a right.
2/25/2012 1:55:15 AM
^^But then how will he be passive-aggressive to his server?[Edited on February 25, 2012 at 1:56 AM. Reason : ^]
2/25/2012 1:56:06 AM
I get that serving food isn't seen as being on the same level as banking or consulting or whatever, but how does he expect to go to restaurants if the waiters all got real jobs and nobody waited tables anymore?
2/25/2012 2:01:51 AM
Which is why it's most likely: A - A fake, B - A joke, or C - a combination of A and B and a shitty job by the waiter who whined about the whole OWS thing. Most people smart enough to have the means to regularly rack up $133 bills wouldn't be so stupid or short-sided to leave that sort of tip unjustified or to realize that ^ simple point.
2/25/2012 2:11:50 AM
it looks like this douche needs to get some perspective
2/25/2012 2:13:22 AM
^^ You have entirely too much faith in people
2/25/2012 3:51:54 AM
do you think it is possible that there are some stupid rich people out there?
2/25/2012 4:37:45 AM
1.3354 rounded to two decimal places would be 1.34 but yeah, what a jerk, if real

I have some (non close) relatives that were banned from Olive Garden for only eating the bread sticks and salad, and not tipping.

2/25/2012 9:17:30 AM
$133 for lunchcheck comes binder clipped to a piece of cardboard.
2/25/2012 9:38:54 AM
^thats what I thought too.
2/25/2012 10:01:00 AM
They're practicing the same thing the banker does...shitty service with ridiculous prices to jack up profit margin.[Edited on February 25, 2012 at 10:04 AM. Reason : BECAUSE YOU'RE ALL GREEDY PIECES OF SHIT]
2/25/2012 10:03:47 AM
I would tip 1% if I had a waiter/waitress talking to me about the 99% and OWS.
2/25/2012 10:23:06 AM
Writing "Get a real job" when she can't handle the one she's got, isn't a very good tip and reflects poorly on you as a tip giver. He should have wrote, "Know your audience" if she offended him with her conversation about rich people.

2/25/2012 1:22:26 PM
Talage, the argument is not terrible. I'm stating I don't give a fuck to show you proof because the proof is in the pudding, but if you'd like to go ahead and prove me wrong, show me a pay stub from someone who got compensated for not making enough tips.
2/25/2012 1:24:00 PM
No, you show me proof of a national restaurant chain breaking the law. We could do this all day...
2/25/2012 1:25:19 PM
I care the least, so whatever.

I had a person live a tip that said "find a different job" but it was after abhorrent service by a waitress who was a vapid thundercunt.I found it amusing then. This guy has a tiny penis.
2/25/2012 1:34:23 PM
I thought this was about COW tipping
2/25/2012 1:38:03 PM
LIVE ATIP
2/25/2012 1:38:50 PM
haha, I had a friend that left a "tip" that stated "go fuck yourself"Of course this was after ordering a drink and not getting anything for 15 minutes so he was forced to track down another waitress to get it. The manager laughed his ass off but kicked him out even though he admitted the waiter was a piece of shit [Edited on February 25, 2012 at 1:39 PM. Reason : ]

I've waited tables and I was awful at it.Even then I got enough tips per hour to make up the difference between server pay and everyone else's minimum wage.I think I either had to claim 10% of sales or my credit card tips, and either way it always gave me up to minimum wage and then some while being less than I actually made in tips that day.[Edited on February 25, 2012 at 2:21 PM. Dude the tailpipe is still open after you take it out of your ass, that ain't gonna do nothin'
2/27/2012 2:02:34 AM
waiters in california make minimum wage
2/27/2012 3:56:57 AM
Waiters should be payed only in tips. That wold provide real incentive to work harder.
2/27/2012 11:38:12 AM
I tip waiters but I don't tip bartenders, because fuck them.

Wilbers is the best BBQ on the east coast.
2/27/2012 12:38:00 PM
Most people don't work harder at the end of the day thoughEspecially not waiters/waitressesUnless you count rolling silver or refilling the bartender's ice chest or getting that mashed potatoes out of the carpet under table 11 that was dropped by an obnoxious infant early in the night and ground in by every table thereafter hard workI'm not arguing though. It can definitely be hard work, and while it will never stack up to the pressure and responsibility of a "real job," it's definitely a profession that gets shit on a little more than is called for. But only a little.]
