Luckily none of us live in Wake County or Durham counties, or drink or swim there, or are raising kids there, etc.

I don't understand why we would want to sell our natural gas when it's at its cheapest prices. Hold onto that shit until there's a shortage so we can at least make $texas on it.

We could wait until it's safer and more profitable, the lobbyists that the GOP General Assembly listens to doesn't want that though, they want it ASAP.

Before people point out that fracking can be done safely (it can), I would like to preemptively point them to the what has been happening to NCDENR's budget. True, we are creating a new special organization for this, but what do you think will happen to their budget?

The Haw River I'm afraid, will once again become one of the more polluted rivers around.

If you look at the area of the reserves, the Haw runs right through it. If you've never seen the Haw, you should definitely check it out. It's very scenic. Unfortunately, it used to be one of the most polluted rivers in the country. Its fine now, but maybe not for long.Sure, the silt will eventually makes its way out to other, larger rivers, but the fracking will probably have a direct impact on the Haw.
