I broke down and got some lululemon pants to run in the cold. They're fucking awesome.

There are better pants for less money. That could be said about basically anything in the store, though.

Is UnderArmor not cool anymore or something?

I don't get it either. The Target shit is functional too.

Sometimes people want better than "functional".Personally...I'll take functional 99% of the time. My workout shorts are all 5+ years old and I use nothing but old t-shirts (and 7/8 year old UA shirts). But the sweatpants I had got way too fucking hot and other options I tried either didn't keep me warm enough or didn't fit right. The lululemon pants I got hit the fucking spot. I probably could have shopped around a bit, but going to Dicks takes about an hour round trip and the lululemon spot is about a mile away.As for women going nuts over it...I can't explain, but as long as it makes my wife happy, I'm all for it. I'll take her word when she says its the most comfortable stuff...but I will say that it makes her body look ridiculous (she's already in great shape, but being in her early 30s, gravity is slowly creeping in).

For women, it's like buying that Coach or LV bag.

spending so much money for something you sweat in makes little sense to meespecially if they're see-throughthough I will say that the cheapest cotton workout pants wear out with the quickness (at least the ones I got at Target did), so it's worth it to at least go to Marshall's or TJ Maxx and get some dri-fit pantsshirts: who cares
