What's youse guyses fave?I just want to sit at the sushi bar and eat whatever the hell the chef throws at me. And I don't want it to suck.

If you're willing to extend your definition of "in town," I've only ever eaten that way at Kashin at Crossroads in Cary. It's a very small restaurant with one sushi chef (although maybe they have more now that they're open seven days a week). That was my go-to place before Sushi Nine opened and fucking wrecked my sushi-eating habits by offering good BOGO rolls that close to my house.Kashin's just about the only place I feel like I can order sashimi without worrying about whether it'll be any good. I wouldn't bother trying omakase anywhere else.

for all sushi related recommendations there is only one answer. Waraji. /thread. they also have amazing entrees like sukiyaki that most Japanese places don't have and you get a ginger salad and miso soup for free if you spend $20. the negimaki is my favorite appetizer there.
