Spanish sitcom- lame

Not a good episode if you wanted to see new cast, cold open for like 30 seconds(guy introducing hegseth) and weekend update(black dude)- thats pretty much it

it was really shocking that the 'viral hit' musical act was terrible.

the Rudemans was only funny in that it's formula - stranger ambushed by a weird quirky family - was a vaguely reminiscent of some past SNL skit, which I cannot recall at the moment, that actually did make me laugh.

what can I say? I watch SNL now to be reminded of earlier times I guess. this is middle age

Guest made my pee pee happy. I had it on mute most of the episode though...didn't care for cold open(not big on musical numbers), didn't care for most of the sketches(phill said snack homiez was the best), listened to weekend update but muted when they brought out a character, didn't care for that ladies songs either...she seemed to give it her all though like winking and shit while she sang

what was wrong with it?

lazy writing - the guy collapses so they have Trump stand up and deliver an unfunny soliloquy.

here's a sampling of a few of his supposed laugh lines:

"Supreme Court said we could stop feeding poor people - Snap!"

"they got the legs up, that means dead in cartoon"

"if you're gonna take him to get an MRI, use this - my punchcard"

"for anyone worried about the state of the country, I'll the say the same thing I said to Melania when she tried to help me do my hair, go away, what I'm doing is very complicated and only I know how to do it"

I don't find any of this even approaching funny.

I definitely enjoyed the cold open. In retrospect perhaps not because it was funny, but because it was what I considered an accurate representation of what the presidents thoughts were at that moment in time.
