I'm in Climax, and we got about 1 1/2 inches, maybe 2. Its pretty. Lucky1, my Mama, and I made a snowman last night. Looks more like a snow lump though! There's some slick spots, but it seems to be disappearing, even though its only 24 degrees outside!

Grits went outside in it while I was gone hunting, and Mama said that he was freaking out. He was snatching his head back and forth, attempting to chase the snowflakes. And when they landed on his back, he looked back at them like "What do you think you're doing on me?" I wish I had seen it. He then got scared, and ran to hide under out neighbors house until I got home and went to find him. scaredy cat!

my friend's dad used to work for a news channel up in New York where i hear the weather is kind of unpredictable, but yet no where near as bad as it is here in NC.

anyway the dude used to get paid ~$400,000 /year, and a local radio station would give him $1,000 every morning if he did a 2min weather report on the air.

he had 3 kids and they each had a bmw or nice Acura and they lived in a NICE HOUSE. i mean not a fuckin 27K square foot place though, they were kind of low-key. great people, didnt show off, just an awesome all round family.

point being, if you play your cards right, being a meterologist is a kickass gig given the "how well you do your job/how well you get paid" ratio.
