it would simplify it down for them

Yeah, height/weight ratio is crazy for people over 6'2'' The acceptable range starts to become kinda nuts. I don't think I'd look sickly if I weighed 200lbs, but apparently the doctor says 210 is my ideal weight and each tall person is going to be different. I'm mostly legs, someone with a long torso might have a different ideal weight. Basically, for tall people, the BMI lies.

yea I'm 6'1 192lbs now....I just want to hit 189 so I can say I officially lost 100lbs from when I weighed in and began my transformation...but all my friends/family think 189 is too skinny for a guy my size/build. I'm ~16% bodyfat...hoping to hit 12% by summer. Been dropping a solid .5-1% every month for ~4 months since I've really gotten hardcore about my diet/nutrition, so I think it's possible. Abs are just starting to pop! But I've got a pooch leftover from the 100lb weight loss

"6'4" - weighed in a 244 tonight.

Over the last year I started at ~215, and steadily gained to 265. Started back to baseline training just about a month ago, and it's coming off fast. Amazing what 2-3hours a day, everyday in the gym will do. Even more amazing when you quit drinking and eat well too."

saw my wedding pics back in september. was disgusted... I weighed in at like 242(5'11) . Limited my soda intake, ate 300 calorie lunches and no breakfast and have got it down to 212 at the moment. I won't be happy until I hit 185-190 or so.

Oh yeah, I try to hit my exercise bike for 20-40 minutes daily

~5'8" and I currently weigh 140. I have been as low as 130 this year and as high as 142 mainly depending on time of day and how much cardio I am doing along with my normal weight training. I havent decided what weight class I want to enter at some USA senior wrestling events this year or next yet but my only two options are 132 or 145. The one above 145 is like 163 or something which is too big for me. I am filling my frame out pretty well right now and an extra 20 lbs would do nothing but hinder me really in regards to wrestling.

138, and I'm 5'5".
I'm just starting to hit the gym again hardcore, and with swim conditioning I'm starting to really get into swimming. The weight isn't bad, but there are a few usual areas that could be less pudgy.

And agreed, don't skip breakfast. If it's a time issue, you could make a smoothie. Yum

follow up on responses to my post.

I have never really eaten breakfast, how important is it in terms of weight loss? Will it offset my cravings for food later on in the day? I am on a calorie budget and if I added breakfast it would need to be somewhere around 100-250 calories.

Basically, is it just important to get something in there? ie. a banana would be ok. Or should it really be the biggest meal of the day?

150lbs.

Right now i'm at 13% body fat. I'd like to stay the same weight but drop my body fat by 2 or 3%. The hard part is when i gain more muscle my flexibility suffers and I don't want that to happen either.

^4 i think the importance of it is to just get something decent in your system to jumpstart your metabolism and regulate hunger throughout the day, because when i dont eat breakfast i get hungry at random times, especially late at night.

i usually eat like a bagel w/ cream cheese and some yogurt for breakfast.
