I've spent the past 2 years single, technically, after ending a long and serious 6 year relationship. I'm happier now than I have been in almost a decade. It's funny, because for the longest time I just assumed that being single was a worse fate than having a girlfriend, and it turned out to not be true at all. Then again, it really depends on the person you are with, so now I'm back into the dating scene and so far it's a lot of fun. There are sooo many single women in Raleigh it's nuts.

yeah being single can really be a good thing. its one of those things you assume is bad because everyone suggests you need to be in a relationship. the freedom that comes with it is unmatched.
