I thoroughly enjoyed Sinners. I love watching movies from this time period.

I do feel however, like the whole vampire thing just took away from my enjoyment of the movie. I’m thinking a better movie would have been seeing how the two brothers leave Chicago with Capone’s stolen booze, open a juke joint, and fight off the klan and Capone’s thugs in the Jim Crow south.

But I did like how the ending tied it all together.

Not just that, written by Mel Brooks, who at 98 is also gonna be playing Yogurt. Rick Moranis has come out of retirement to reprise Dark Helmet and Bill Pullman is also back.

History of the World Part 2 series sucked, but hoping that Mel can pull of one more masterpiece. He's certainly got a lot of material to work with.

^^^ I realize that I have the benefit of just seeing it, but just watched the trailer, and it does a pretty great job of giving an overview of the plot

of course there are far bigger themes than the plot, but that’s what makes the movie worth the watch
