Got the W on the road against decent competition.2 cupcake wins and 3-1 heading to Miami who got trashed today. Most of us were worried about the D, but they did pretty damn well today.

I'll wager that they do make a bowl. Maryland, Western Michigan, and Buffalo up next. Later games with Temple, Pitt, and Syracuse. They probably go 6-6. But whatever we win and you are shitting all in here.

So glad to hear that our contingent sounded vocal on TV! I'm still hoarse today. Lots of alumni up from NYC and Boston. This is my seventh college football season in the "it grows on you" state of Connecticut and it was lovely to finally get to lose my voice for the Wolfpack again. Observations:1. You kids think that was bad, you should watch the Yale-Harvard game. 2. The wind was really that strange. People were trying to throw around a beach ball and it kept landing in one spot on the stands, trash was blowing around and accumulating in strange places, some kid lost a helium balloon on one end of the field and by the time it cleared the stands (of a very short, 40k person stadium) it was on the opposite side and opposite end of the field. Yesterday I thought I was sunburned but today it looks more like I'm windburned? One of the strangest days of New England weather I've encountered.
