Katz gave me a boner when I ate there.
4/3/2011 10:51:14 PM

Is it still a PB&J sandwhich if it's macadamia nut butter instead of peanut butter?
4/3/2011 11:06:37 PM
It really is amazing how epic almost all food is in NYC however Katz wins it all hands down. I mean how many delicatessens pull thier pastrami out of the oven ??? most slice it off a log the bought from someone.I will also give a runner up trophy to "the irish punt" near battery park , owner was awesome bartenders were great and food wad amazing.↑ wouldn't that be an mb&j???[Edited on April 3, 2011 at 11:09 PM. 4/3/2011 11:08:04 PM

4/4/2011 12:02:58 AM
Its amazing everyone in nyc isn't fat since restaurants and bars are the only good things about life there.
4/4/2011 12:08:16 AM
they're not fat cause they walked everywherewhen I lived there I was getting into great shapeRaleigh is making me tubbo
4/4/2011 12:13:49 AM
I agree, the week I was there I walked from the financial district to central parkish area on the daily. And farther than that u took the subway.
4/4/2011 12:23:27 AM
4/4/2011 12:25:12 AM
You can do so much better with $21 in NYC than that.Katz's being one of them. ]
4/4/2011 12:29:50 AM
I wouldn't pay more than about $9 for a PB&J in NYCand I'd probably get it from Peanut Butter & Co. on Sullivan in the Villagehttp://ilovepeanutbutter.com/
4/4/2011 12:33:03 AM
Pretty much anything is good if you break it down into its rudimentary form and remake it.FOR EXAMPLE,a hamburger is amazing if you buy filet mignon, grind it yourself, make a patty, and grill itI also slice my own mushroomsand guess what ladies, I am available....
4/4/2011 12:35:10 AM
amazing....I still can't get over that lobster.
4/4/2011 1:22:45 AM
Congratulations, Lisa, you just ate the most expensive and therefore best PB&J sandwich.

Then give me some walnut butter or pecan butter...K thanks..
4/4/2011 9:17:11 AM
among nut butters, macadamia, walnut/pecan, and pistachio taste the best.
4/4/2011 9:18:52 AM
today we are all over priced sandwiches^I disagree. Almond is by far the best Almond butter and apple slices de-damn-licious.[Edited on April 4, 2011 at 9:29 AM. Reason : LIES!]
4/4/2011 9:19:03 AM

So this is where "dollar bucks" was invented? I say shit that all the time
4/4/2011 4:38:28 PM
that's 16 dollars than it could possibly be worthif you're gonna make jam you make a LOT, a gallon or more, or about 128 large servings (being generous here)let's say that takes a hour of actual labor to make a gallon so 1/128 hour of labor so fartotal cost is about $30 for 128 servings the nut butter, $10/lb for the nuts, ~$1 for other ingredients per pound (spices to taste if you wanted) 8 minutes worth of work for 5 pounds $55 for 640 servingsbread cost is say at a retail level $10/loaf so $1 for 2 slicescomes to about ~$1.50 a sandwich, so they made a gross profit of $19.50 (minus a very generous wage for the owner and staff, still leaves $10 profit easily for the restaurant)
