I just got back from Mardi Gras.

I refuse to believe that 30,000 drunk people in costume for 4 days is more fun than hundreds of thousands, the majority of the females scantily clad, if at all, for a solid month.

Plus, New Orleans has no open-container laws. "Beer To-Go" is like sex for my alcohol appetite.

I dont think anyone with half a turd for a brain would ever say geekfest 5000 is better than mardi gras, but its not like its an either/or thing, if I HAD to pick then of course I would pick New Orleans for Mardi Gras, but that doesnt mean this wont be fun. And me living a few miles away doesnt hurt any either
