I would be all about a cheap quarter arcade with drinks all around. Would be great if it was a full bar, but then it would have to be 21 and older I think. I would totally go.

Right now I just have the mame box I built and I play on that, but damn I miss the old arcades.

You could have skee ball and those other machines that you win tickets with, and you could buy booze with the tickets. Would be awesome. Have to really find a way to tie the arcade nostalgia with the college lifestyle, without pigeon holing just the annoying, loud college drinkers or the arcade nerds. Could really be something special. I'm in.

I wouldn't give away drinks for tickets except during special events maybe

but your prizes could be more relevant to college kids

trade tickets for:

blunt wraps
Chaser hangover pills

if its going to be big what makes it different from Dave and Buster's?

I vote for team games like air hockey, foosball and even pool
that gets people drinking

and you should have a small stage with guitar hero / rockband on it

Owning is easier, just go to a few auctions in Winston-Salem and you'll find the games you're looking for.

Gotta get permits for all of them you're earning money on though.

I say make the classic arcade games free and the newer stuff pay to play maybe but with a red-button option so you can rent the joint out for parties

arcade are declining in japan due to the gaming consoles, especially the wii, and you really want to start an arcade in america, hahaha i really hope that you are joking.

that was the Blue Bassoon. It ruled. All the games were a quarter and it had the feel of an old school arcade. Sadly, there was never anyone in there.
