yea, i picked a great weekend for a wedding. it's graduation day at all the local colleges AND it's mother's day weekend so i get to pay 30% markup on all my flowers

the only thing "neat" about my wedding is that we're having the rehearsal dinner at El Dorado in Cary, because that's where we had our first date

other than that, it's gonna be your standard run-of-the-mill wedding - with an open bar reception

haha a wedding i went to last year was no booze as well

but these really redneck people snuck a small collapsible cooler into the reception and hid it under their table, and they were pouring liquor in their soda cups all night. and it's not like they were trying to hide it either, because they were sitting at a table in the middle of the fucking reception, and then leaning down and pouring stuff under the table - totally obvious. totally rude. totally ridiculous.

yea, we originally were trying to find a more traditional place for the rehearsal dinner, but ultimately decided to save money and actually enjoy ourselves.

that was at madame tusaud's wax musuem in las vegas

you put on some gross wedding dress that 100s of other people that day have had on (you just put your arms through the holes) and stand next to the george clooney wax statue

yeah

I found this girl on http://www.etsy.com that got married in Las Vegas and made those postcards for her wedding

now she sells them for other people getting married in Vegas

Etsy is now my favorite place to shop for gifts!

We also have personalized playing cards to hand out as gifts to our guests (as well as starbucks gift cards when they check in)...you gotta be well caffeinated in las vegas
