please to not confuse madras with plaid, they are in fact different.Plaid can be cool, madras, not so much. Abercrombie and American Eagle would have you think otherwise though.
5/8/2008 12:39:54 PM
^^^that counts as e-game, weak e-game, but e-game nonetheless.[Edited on May 8, 2008 at 12:40 PM. Reason : .]
5/8/2008 12:40:19 PM
there is no "g" in my name!
5/8/2008 12:41:02 PM
Madras is a type of plaid (that originated in India btw)so how to confuse, please tell me?[Edited on May 8, 2008 at 12:43 PM. Reason : throwin facts left n right]
5/8/2008 12:42:07 PM
Sorry for the extra g, I'm not usually one to copy and paste.[Edited on May 8, 2008 at 12:43 PM. Reason : and what e-game isn't weak? Spitting game on the internet isn't exactly suave]
5/8/2008 12:42:26 PM
this is so last summersome look good some are uglydepends on how many other fratty accessories you are wearing at the timekeep it low key
5/8/2008 12:43:54 PM
^^you're crazymy e-game is flawless [Edited on May 8, 2008 at 12:44 PM. Reason : ^only if last summer was 1956]
5/8/2008 12:44:04 PM
yeah...it is inherently lame
5/8/2008 12:44:27 PM
^^^^^ true, I guess I mean it in the sense that most retail places (and people who don't know the true definition) define madras..as in the patchwork shit of different plaid patterns.[Edited on May 8, 2008 at 12:46 PM. Reason : .]

<3 livin and diva. the only people that realize madras was not, in fact, invented by abercrombie and fitch last summer. and that madras is a type of plaid. geeeeez people. i guess i'm the only one who has parents that haven't purchased new clothes since like 1965.
5/8/2008 1:06:18 PM
Fuck plaid shorts, I'm a kilt wearing troll on this thread.

5/8/2008 1:18:12 PM
Good thing I look cool, no matter what.
5/8/2008 1:20:20 PM
hey shawna...just remember...you would have looked cool even back in 1956 when people wore the same plaid that was so over last summer and started being trendy 3 years ago
5/8/2008 1:22:34 PM
no, its a good thing you don't care what kind of asshole you look like
5/8/2008 1:23:53 PM
7/9/2008 8:41:36 AM
i repeat! madras is not a new fad!!! if you put something away when it becomes trendy then you should have put your madras shorts away in like 1942.anyway, i wasn't sure if i liked madras either but i think i like madras bermuda shorts (another "new" fad). but i don't think can wear bermuda shorts
7/9/2008 8:45:19 AM
they would be pants on you
7/9/2008 8:50:57 AM
yeah, they came back in the 70s too. Madras is definitely comfortable, especially when it is truly thin madras.I saw a nice pair of slacks at Brooks Brothers the other week. I might get them when they go on sale this fall.
7/9/2008 8:53:06 AM
^^ haha i know^ yea i like madras better for boys than girls. well since it started as men's apparel anyway. and i always think it looks good on other people. i don't think it is really my style. but i do like bermuda shorts
7/9/2008 8:54:19 AM
I'm a huge fan!!! Madras on boys makes me We always had a lovely madras blazer when I worked at J.crew. I was always sad I never bought it! I do love my little summer handbag tho
7/9/2008 8:56:27 AM

7/9/2008 8:56:40 AM
Oh snap!!! I used to have TMNT jams gunzzie...anything you wear makes me
7/9/2008 8:57:49 AM
my aunt used to make fake jams for me and my dad was telling me about his madras shirt that he wore in high school....in 1965
7/9/2008 9:08:38 AM
In my experience, Madras are only worn (or drunk) by people who are gay.
7/9/2008 10:03:17 AM
I like plaid anything.
7/9/2008 10:07:07 AM
7/9/2008 10:28:59 AM

7/9/2008 11:11:09 AM

7/9/2008 11:21:39 AM
