I was talking to my wife about these romantic-comedies the other day and how they are almost all the same.

1. Two people from different walks of life meet by chance and can't stand each other.
2. After being forced to spend time together due to some circumstance, they fall for each other.
3. Everything is a whirlwind love affair, until one or the other either messes up or gets cold feet and now they can't stand each other again.
4. They don't talk at all for some period of time. (This is where the comic relief zany best friends come in).
5. Somehow fate makes them meet again and they get back together and all is back to bliss.

Lame.

-Dirty Dancing
-Steel Magnolias
-Pretty Woman
-Raising Helen
-The Wedding Planner
-any movie in this genre that comes on TBS, TNT, or FX randomly.

what i don't understand is how chicks can fantasize about that bullshit their whole lives and then every one of them ends up marrying for as much money as possible
