Why do you believe that she is obese?
Do you know what her body fat comp is? Do you know what is healthy for a 5'10" woman? According to what measurements? If you're going to argue measurements you have to post them and they have to be ACCURATE.

I completely disagree with you about her attitude being a bad influence on young women. It is acutally your attitude that make young women do really stupid things to their bodies. (as someone else pointed out in the thread)
I stand 5'11" tall and when I am a size 12/14, my body fat % is well within the healthy range.

I would much rather my daughter grow up looking at this absolutely beautiful woman and feel good about herself, than to see the second pic with the girl's ribs showing and feel like she must live up to that standard. Not everyone was meant to be a size 4.

I'm not playing the "we're big boned" card, but seriously, I would be more upset if I were a size 4 than if I were a size 18.

I am obese according to the BMI stuff. However last time i had a checkup (a year ago, and 5-10 pounds heavier) I checked out as being in perfect health.

So you can take your BMI and shove it up your ass. I can work out 5/7 days a week for 8 months (and i have) and not lose a pound of weight or an inch off my waist. Then again, most people don't consider me to be that fat when they see me, I'm just fuckin huge.

It was entertaining one time when they used the wrong cuff on me when taking my blood pressure... whatever it showed result-wise would have meant that i should be practically exploding. Nothing like that look of complete confusion on the nurse's face just before i tell her she used the wrong cuff.

still made no sense that she didn't already know that, as the thing barely fit around my arm.
