well, we cooked for some of it, but local food joints we visited were: rosa mexicana, ben's chili bowl, brickskellar, and some baller take-out chinese joint near dupont that was awesome (seriously, we have some okay chinese places around here, but that was damn good chinese!)the gf and her friend, since they're artists (while i most certainly am not) spent a great deal of time at the hirshorn, the freer gallery, the portrait gallery, and the sculpture gardensthe other guy and i did the natural history, library of congress (i got my library card, hah!), air and space, national archives, and that new(ish) air and space out at dulles (that place was crazy cool)...by myself i walked from the capitol building to the washington monument to the WWII memorial to the lincoln monument and then to arlington...the last day i walked to the zoo and then to the national cathedralmy favorites were arlington and the national cathedral and the sculpture gardens...national archives and library of congress were cool, as wellalso, we desperately need a metro

i go to church at the national cathedral sometimes, if only because it's much easier to get through an hour of church when there's cool architecture to look atit's also the highest natural point in DC, if i remember correctly.how did you like the guacamole at rosa mexicano?
