Grits prefers to nap in the sunshine on top of the chest freezer so he can watch the birds on the feeder as he drifts off to sleep. I don't think there's room for me on the freezer with him. But we sleep together every night.

one of my cats makes sure i never lose any body heat through my head when we nap together. generally hes curled up right above my head on the pillow, while the other usually naps in the nook between my arm and my torso.

i could go for a nap right now

yay! i'm excited. i was productive this morning, my house is clean (well i need to vacuum but that i can do after the nap). and its a cool day, my windows are open, heat is off, sheets are clean and kitties are ready to rest after playing with catnip all morning
