the only reason we went is cause the chick i was with said that you told her to come...we were told you left soon after we got there(vinylbandit)...was my first time ever and it looked pretty low brow...but i kinda liked it...idk who owns it but they should invest some money in fixing it up

yeah i didnt get the overhead thing(if by overhead you mean cover)...when we walked in i saw a sign that said like "memberships required" or something...we just sat down so i was like fuck it

overhead meaning the cost to run the place

it has hardly any lighting

no real air conditioning

no accoutrements

no one cleans it

but that's why the people who go there like it

and so the bar makes money without having to spend a lot

he's got the money to fix it up if he wants to

it's a concious decision to keep it like it is

the look keeps out most of the people who are walking down the street to city limits from stopping in, for instance

I used to always get hot as fuck in there and just pound doubles of their cheap shit to stay cool. I didn't get wasterized too much in college. Rum Runners had a disproportionate share of the damage.
