So we are trying this new thing in meetings since the audio keeps fucking up on some of our videoconferences

So we have this proprietary speech to text thing where you say something and it comes up as next on the sidebar of the main screen...its surprisingly accurate...we have to wear these little mic things that look a lot like xbox headsets, minus the overhead part

At the end of the meetings we typically have a Q and A for investors

Someone asked me how we can justify spending so much on travel in an economy like this

I said something to the effect of "Think about when a guy comes to your office to make a sale vs a guy who does it over the phone...What has a greater impact ?"

I apparently dislodged my mic halfway thru since all that showed up on the screen was "Think about when a guy comes"

also i took an hour to go running this afternoon for "lunch" and no one cares. i am essentially my own department. total autonomy except for what i deliver to the overall group.
