maybe it's a hollywood thing and not a real IRL thing. I definitely don't do that (when i actually have to tuck in my shirt). I go pretty loose, I like to look decent, but feel good too.

i don't think it's a hollywood thing. maybe a military thing? i did it as did many of my classmates at the academy. tucking the undershirt in kept it tighter against the body and allowed a tighter fit of the outer shirt. kept everything in place for uniform inspections too.
