JCASHFAN makes a very good argument.and I feel the same should go for health insurance. If I share a house with someone, share all the bills, share all the responsibility, then they should also be able to share my health insurance.

^^^^No... they can only stop marriages from occurring in their church -- Other churches could still offer same sex marriage.Of course, you don't even really need a church to get married, just a contract and a notary, right? ^^^And 100% private health insurance providers could and should offer that choice... Currently however, the government and our beloved corporate oligarchs don't want us to have that option.
