You're right. It was actually women who decided this. There are two ideals. The first is the man's ideal: long neck, large perky brests, round prominent backside, long lean legs, small waist, etc... Notice that none of those attributes are attainable...you are either born with them or you aren't. Sure, you can do ass exercises to make it rounder, but a flat ass is a flat ass. Stubby legs, no-neck, no waist (or no hips, as women prefer to describe it), small lopsided boobs, etc...if you've got these qualities, you have no chance of ever meeting the ideal.

So women have created a second ideal: being super thin.

99 percent of women cannot meet the curvy sex goddess ideal of men BUT 99 percent of women damn sure can starve they asses thin. And then they can feel ideally beautiful in a superficial way (and in the US the superficial way is the most important way despite its being, you know, superficial). And then we all get to be pretty and life will be great for all of us!

It mainly boils down to biology.

The 'ginas tingle for alpha males. Alpha males have certain characteristics. Alpha males find women with certain characteristics more attractive and will chose to mate with them over women without these certain characteristics.

Women will actively compete to win over the alpha males who make their 'ginas tingle the most. Of course, if they can't or chose not to compete, they can settle for lesser men. Lesser men have lesser genes, meaning lower quality offspring.

Over a long enough time period, the women who have the desirable characteristics, and their alpha male suitors will stand out as the dominant or preferred archetype of person. Thus creating an ideal male and female type. Alpha as opposed to Beta or Omega.

I would blame more of this on women than men. Although it really boils down to survival of the fittest.

I just don't understand that stupid made up statistic. I know more girls who fit into the curvy category than the category of "being able to starve their asses thin." Some of us have body types where even if we did starve ourselves, we would still have a bubble butt or be chesty... and I don't think it's 1% of us.

I would venture to say that it's easier to meet the curvy sex goddess ideal than it is to meet the pin-thin ideal. It's just that fashion magazines and tv shows and movies have glamorizes the waifish model/celebrity. Clothing designers use Kate Moss as their ideal. Therefore, the latest fashions aren't designed for the curvy sex goddess type. It sucks.

You're not getting what I"m saying. I'm not saying there will be parts of fat we would just always have a hard time losing. I'm saying that some of us will ALWAYS be chesty or have big butts regardless of what size we are, in relation to said size. For example, if I lost 50 lbs I would look emaciated but I would still be at least a C. (ftr, that's coming from a doc, not just me making up shit) and girls like bmel just have an ass regardless of what size they are... she's thin and still has quite a bit of junk in the trunk

^^ Agreed. And honestly, my past couple of bfs hated when I lost weight bc I lose weight in my chest and ribs first. Right now, my ribs are slightly noticeable at 128 lbs. But at 117, they're extremely prominent. My ex always complained. Clothes look better on me at 117, but I think most men prefer boobs and a butt over prominent ribs when they're gonna see a chick wearing little to nothing.

I just want you to take care of yourself. I don't care if you're not wearing makeup, or high-heels, or you don't spend at least 30 minutes each morning on your hair. That shit is superficial, and usually you all do it to get the attention of other girls, not guys.

What I want to see in a girl is someone who takes enough pride to take good care of herself and her surroundings. If you have bad hygiene, never exercise, party hard every night, and eat like shit, then I'm not wasting my time on you.
