i agree with you in the fact that it is hilarious that most people remain to think that TWW is unique in its brand of humor.

that is why i think tww will die a slow and painful death. not at the hands of absentee owners, but at the hands of a stale user base that is slow to welcome believe new blood (can exist).

the two general ways to rise above the n00b/alias status are

1 - get to 1000 posts

2 - post pics (especially relevant for chicks)

A special condition of meeting a TWWer or otherwise knowing one who vouches for your status can also grant one passage through the n00b phase (see: bmel via Samwise16, who rose above alias/noob via pictures and knowing several twwers, including me...plus being stalked similar to you)

For female recruits, can be very difficult to get past the alias stage if one is A) extremely proficient at internetting, B) extremely bitchy (aka approaching troll status), or C) just plain unbelievable. See: mytwocents, who from time to time has users accuse her of being an alias.

However, typical new users who can weather the storm of 'n00b', 'alias' and 'show me your tits' will eventually be accepted into the TWW community and then be treated as any other TWWer, which is to be trolled, be the butt of sexist/racial remarks, and generally treated with no remorse. This is described in the following diagram:

I, too, agree that its funny that people think TWW is unique/a force to be reckoned with...or that TWW is actually known for anything. While TWW does occasionally make its way into the real world (like the Big Business/IMStoned420 deal...hilarity), it is nothing compared to the internet hate machine of 4chan
