the singles soundtrack.

did anyone actually watch that movie? i am under the impression that there may not have ever been any movie. But to be fair, i wondered the same thing about Judgment Night, and that turned out pretty darn good

I swear I'm not hatin', but I'm just sayin'. . .yeeesh.

^^^^ There was, in fact, a movie entitled Singles and a soundtrack from it. The soundtrack was pretty good--the movie was not so much. It was memorable, though.

the new album is 44 songs long and totally free. it goes on to talk about how they plan to sell EPs once they've finished recording.

Quote :
"Recording began yesterday, September 15th, 2009 on the new record which will be entitled 'Teargarden by Kaleidyscope'. The album will feature 44 songs, 4 of which are now being recorded. My desire is to release a song at a time beginning around Halloween of this year, with each new release coming shortly after until all 44 are out. Each song will be made available absolutely for free, to anyone anywhere. There will be no strings attached. Free will mean free, which means you won't have to sign up for anything, give an email address, or jump through a hoop. You will be able to go and take the song or songs as you wish, as many times as you wish. "

I'm sure that it will suck as much or possibly more than the rest of their catalog.

leg and marko posted some of my favorites already, but Adore isn't getting any love. i'll add that in, and also contribute Blank, from another thread:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jas6F3EZr5w - For Martha

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGeXsfRdPM4 - Behold! The Nightmare (my favorite from Adore)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8rYFJ36eUQ - To Sheila

On the subject of fucking the smashing pumpkins, d'arcy's outfits on the Adore tour were hot as shit. best believe i'd hit it with a bass guitar.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNHsug1RYgg - Blank (ignore the lyrics in the info, they're wrong in several places)
