Even with strong majorities filibusters (the threat of, & endless amendments & committee stuff rather than an a good old public talk til you drop type) make the government doing anything other than sitting around arguing difficult, I'm not saying that having a strong majority for dems or reps is inherently a good thing, but a seriously divided gov doesn't promise to be much more effective, at best your advocating for the government to do nothing b/c at least then they aren't making things worse... but maybe that's too cynical of a view to take.

First of all, the Republicans fucked up by allowing Palin to be running mate.

Secondly, the only solution for the war with Afghanistan is to bomb their country into oblivion. The effort is futile. We pay off so many warlords for progress in that country that we're going backwards.

Any person that desires the position of the leader of the country is not a person I want to be the leader of the country.

Democracy? A choice between the two leading fund-raisers backed by billion dollar companies disguised as Republican and Democratic parties, with all the greed, lies, and deception?

Find the most capable guy, fuck term limits, and take care of us. Get our shit back on track. Stop killing hundreds of thousands of people in order to position us in a good place to grab up all the natural resources. Find alternatives. Wait.... there's no easy money in that.

Use Defense money to prevent people from coming after us, stop holding up the wealth of other countries by buying their stuff, use the army to invade countries whose governments deny people human rights, no matter how unintelligent those persons may be. Get the low-income people off their ass, stop the high-income people from fucking the middle-income people, and devise a program to teach people that aren't college material skills and trades.

It's a fucking hash dream, but I'm sick of seeing Damon and Cheadle begging for money to give the people in Darfur because our government ignores them because their hands are tied behind their back while we try to stay on the good side of emerging China.

I'm sure this whole post is going to be all torn apart, but fuck, man, if shit keeps accelerating as it is, Kurzweil was right, and this world is fucked by 2040.

But no...... lets argue about health care reform when the low-income kids and minorities are coming back in boxes or missing parts of their body or coming home and fucking up their families because they can't deal with what they experienced, and the VA can't give them what they need. Lets see what Michelle is wearing today.

I'm done. I hate that I was raised to try and be decent and fair. I wish I was one of these bastards living in 4000 square ft. homes overlooking lakes on a golf course with 2 mistresses, kids they don't even know, and a bunch of fucking Board of Director meetings to go to to decide the fate of the people on the lower rung because the stockholders don't like the profit margin this quarter.

I bust ass every day to make sure my roof doesn't leak, my kids clothes don't come from Goodwill, and every once in awhile, I can take a weekend and give the finger to responsibility. I just hope that shit doesn't change.
